FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about booking a gospel artist through Lone Oak Entertainment.

1How do I book an artist?

To begin, you need to submit a booking inquiry with basic details about your event. You do not need to have all the details to make an inquiry — just the basics (date, location, and what artist you are considering). If you have questions, add these to the email. An agent will reach out and discuss the questionnaire and check artist availability for you.

2How much does it cost to book an artist?

Artist fees are set by their management team and vary based on various factors for the program: event type, length of performance, and a track engagement versus a band engagement. After discussing your program with an agent, they can give you a better price range for that artist.

Note that, unless stated otherwise, travel accommodations, production, and artist technical rider requirements are separate from the honorarium for the artist.

3Is submitting a booking inquiry a contract?

No. A booking inquiry is simply the first step in the process and does not guarantee artist availability or confirm your event. A booking is considered confirmed only after all required agreements have been completed and any required deposit or payment has been received.

4What information do I need to submit an offer?

Once you talk to an agent and your questions have been answered, you can submit an offer. This requires having as many details about your event as possible. The artist and their management team will review the offer details and make a decision from it.

  • Artist name
  • Event date and time
  • Location of event
  • Type of event (concert, appreciation program, conference)
  • Size of venue
  • Ticket pricing & breakdown of ticket scaling (if applicable)
  • Other artists/speakers on program
  • Signature for contract (name & contact information)
  • Primary contact for event details (name and contact information)
5What happens after I submit a booking inquiry?

The agent will put together a formal offer for the artist and their management to consider. If there are any follow-up questions from management, the agent will communicate these. If accepted, the agency will issue an agreement for the event based on the details of the offer.
